The Human Calculator to visit Australia
Scott Flansburg, aka The Human Calculator, will be in Sydney for one week (24th - 28th August) on a
whirlwind tour, visiting schools in the lead up to National Literacy and Numeracy Week.
Scott is world renowned for his ability to calculate numbers in his head at world record speeds. For
over 20 years he has inspired a love of numbers on TV and in schools around the world. Scott has
appeared on shows such as Oprah, Ellen and Jay Leno.
Check Scott out on the Discovery Channel via YouTube:
Scott added the same number to itself more times in 15 seconds than a person could do with a
calculator, which is why he is the Guinness World Record holder for "Fastest Human Calculator".
According to Scott, he would be even faster, but he can't speak the answers as fast as he can
calculate them in his head!
MORE ABOUT SCOTT:

to add, subtract, multiply, and divide (even do square and cube roots) all in his head with amazing
speed and calculator accuracy.
Now an elite "edutainer," Scott speaks to educators, parents, corporate leaders, and thousands of
kids each year, teaching them about maths and even showing off his own skills a bit. His mission is to
help people improve their basic maths skills regardless of their ages, and convince them that maths
