Two speakers from business will address a human resources conference tomorrow, Monday
October 19, on doing business during tough times.

The Australian Human Resources Institute is conducting the conference to look at the big
challenges of economic sustainability, workforce re-design and job creation in the wake of the
economic crisis. Other speakers include:
Hon Jacinta Allan MP, Victorian Minister for Skills and Workforce Participation, on
Victoria: Innovation, productivity and skills for the future
Professor Helen De Cieri, Monash University, on The ill wind of economic uncertainty
AHRI national president Peter Wilson AM will chair a keynote panel on the question: building
sustainable workforces. Panel members are:

The Melbourne event is one of a series of eight Leadership Conferences being held during
September and October in Australias capital cities.
