The Ultimate Job(TM) Sydney - Now Down to Five Companies!
Friday 29th October 2010

Sydney's Top Five jobs in The Ultimate Job(TM) competition have been decided. The Ultimate Job(TM) competition has been organised by Drake International and is in the search for real vacant jobs that offer the best employment opportunities for candidates throughout Australia.

Sydney is the second city to find its Ultimate Job, with Melbourne announced the winner on 13th October 2010.

Program Manager for Drake International, Ali Evans, said that the key to short listing the roles for this competition is to find jobs that are within reach of most Sydneysiders.

"We put particular focus on roles that offer great career paths, rewards and incentives for candidates. Employment Branding is becoming more and more crucial to most companies, because Australia is already facing skills shortages."

"If you want the very best staff, then you need to offer more incentives and opportunities to retain them. With so much competition already out there for good staff, unemployment figures still being low, and continued growth in our economy, Australia's population will not be able to keep up with the demand for skilled workers.

That means Australia's future talent will be picky about where they want to work. It's not just about salary. The Ultimate JobTM is often about providing a pathway for great career opportunities."

Melbourne's winning Job was Fosters Group's Treasury Wine Estates for their Fine Wine Ambassador role.

An expert panel of judges have been compiled in each city to vote for their favourite roles. The Sydney the panel includes: Jack Singleton, Steve Noyce (CEO of Sydney Roosters) and Toby Hall (CEO) Mission Australia to name just few.
