BIG+BIH Fairs are Back and Better!

Bangkok International Gift Fair and Bangkok International Houseware Fair (BIG+BIH), known as Asia's
most prominent exhibitions for gift and decorative industries, are back in April with even higher level of
commitment to deliver the best of quality, design and business values.
Organized by the Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce for the 27th time, BIG+BIH
are globally recognized as the region's best duo events for gifts, premiums, home decorative, artificial
flowers and plants, handicrafts, household items, spa products, home textiles, toys, and stationery.
Gifts and home decorative exports from Thailand are growing continuously against the downturn of
global economy. This results from manufacturers' focus on function-conscious product designs
(practical aesthetic) and determination to meet all international safety standards while being
environmentally respectable.
During 21-26 April 2009, BIG+BIH will become the platform for Thailand's reputable manufacturers,
designers and exporters to meet directly with leading buyers from around the world. In addition, the
organizer will display award winning design prototypes, ceramics, as well as selected brand new items
that had never been shown anywhere else.
Other highlights are exhibitors capable of providing one-stop solution from design to finished
decorative products for clients who desire full-scale interior decoration services without hassles of
countless supplier contacts and negotiations. Another section of the fairground will decorate model
premises; from outdoor garden, hotel room, spa, and restaurant, in contemporary style by incorporating
design products into visible practicality.
Trade days are from 21 to 24 April, before opening to public on 25-26 April at IMPACT, Muangthong
Thani. To celebrate the Thai New Year month, many shopping centers, retail outlets, hotels and travel
agencies offer special discounts and privileges to BIG+BIH visitors. Details will be available at
