More World Cup accommodation available
22 January, 2010: More accommodation for the World Cup in South Africa has become
available with the launch of homestay packages from travel operators, Bundu and Tour
Africa Now.
The packages will provide football fans with a unique experience as they stay in locals'
homes, experiencing the South African way of life.
Almost 500 homes in major cities where the games take place, as well as key tourist
destinations will be available, with capacity for up to 1000 football fans. All of the homes
have been audited to ensure quality.
Football fans can either book the homestay accommodation alone or also a package
which includes accommodation, two meals per day at the homestay, some transport and a
choice of a Kruger and Lodge short break.
Accommodation is priced from ZAR 24 000 for a 15 Day Homestay including two meals
per day, airport transfers and transport to ticketed games.
Packages are priced from ZAR 25 000 for a 12 Night Homestay including two meals per
day, airport transfers and transport to ticketed games as well as a 4 Day Short Break
Adventure to Kruger National Park
