‘Pamper Day’ to raise funds for Kids Helpline
Camp Hill businesswoman Jodie Eade to host “Pamper Day” in Morningside on
Saturday 4th April raising money for Kids Helpline and for trip to Cambodia to work
in new orphanage.
Jodie is inviting women to pamper themselves on Saturday 4th April when she will be
holding a “Pamper Day” at Simply Blooms, the florist/cafe on Wynnum Road in
Morningside. The day will include relaxing massages, galvanic spa treatments, makeup
demonstrations, aromatherapy skincare and clairvoyant readings - and you’ll even be able
to treat yourself to a delicious high tea while you’re there! The Pamper Day is on from
9.30am until 3pm and all those being pampered will be encouraged to make a gold coin
donation.
Jodie - a partner in Camp Hill-based Tax Depreciation Services - will be travelling to
Cambodia in October to take part in a cycle ride around the country to raise funds for Kids
Helpline here in Australia. While she is in Cambodia she will also spend four and a half
days doing voluntary work at a new Geraldine Cox Orphanage with a team of nineteen
other Australian ‘business chicks’ (the trip has been organised by Australian
businesswomen’s group Business Chicks).
Jodie explains “As a former midwife and as a mother I understand how important it is to
look after our children, and so I’m really looking forward to raising money for Kids Helpline
and working at the new orphanage in Cambodia - these are such important causes. The
sore bottom I’m sure I’ll have from all the cycling will be worth it!”
