Terri Billington Is a Finalist for Telstra Business Woman of the Year

PERTH, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --

Terri Billington, an ActionCOACH Business Coach and franchise owner, is a finalist for Telstra's Business Woman of

the Year award for Western Australia.

Terri Billington already had a big win this year, and it hasn't even been three months and she's already up for another.

She won the Franchise Council of Australia's Woman of the Year award for Western Australia on August 28th, and now

she is a finalist for the Telstra Business Woman of the Year award for WA.

On October 8th, Telstra will hold a dinner and ceremony for its Telstra Business Awards finalists, where they will

announce the winners. Billington will then go on to represent ActionCOACH and women in franchising at the

National Gala Awards for the FCA in Perth on October 21.

Billington has been an ActionCOACH Business Coach since 2005, but she has more than 30 years' experience in

business. Last July, she was ranked 35 in ActionCOACH's worldwide list of top 100 Business Coaches, and she has won

three Action Man awards. Earlier this year at ActionCOACH's Asia Pacific Conference, Billington was also a finalist for the

Coaches Choice NetworkCOACH award.

Billington hopes to win the Telstra Business Woman of the Year, but her FCA Woman of the Year win alone has given

her more confidence and credibility. "I have found that it is important to business owners that they deal with a coach who

not only has experience but has also achieved a level of success," she said. "Winning these awards, along with being the

number one female ActionCOACH globally, has certainly added massive value to me and my business."

Billington is passionate about enriching lives of women through business, leading positive and proactive change and in

turn creating greater wealth, freedom and choice. She lives by the quote, "In order to lead a team first one must learn to

lead oneself."

In addition to being a Business Coach, Billington is on the Coaching for a Cause's Asia/Pacific Directors' Board.

Coaching for a Cause is an independent entity that specializes in providing world-class business coaching services to non-

profits all over the world so they can optimize on donations, boost fundraising and improve their overall efficiency. All

coaching of non-profits is pro bono.

She is currently coaching SIDS and KIDS for Coaching for a Cause. She hopes her hard work, accomplishments and

experience allow her to be an ambassador and role model for all women in business.
