Designing Fun for Teachers
The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) launched new courses for teachers
today, offering a popular, fun option for professional development.
There are two courses on offer:
1)
3D Animation for Teachers
is a 10-week evening course that introduces teachers to the 3D animation
software used in the games, film and visual effects industries. In the first 6-
weeks the course will cover the fundamentals such as; modelling 3D objects,
creating surface materials, animation, lighting rendering and environment
creation. In the final 4-weeks we help teachers develop a plan and resources to
integrate 3D animation into their classes.
