Industry insights to help inspire students


Prospective students will get a glimpse of their future careers in science,

engineering and technology when leading industry groups speak at RMIT

University’s Open Day on Sunday, 10 August.


The high-profile companies include Melbourne Water, Exxon Mobil, Australian

Nanotech, Alcoa and Kraft. 


For high school students facing tough decisions about what to study, the talks

from potential future employers will highlight the wide range of science and

engineering careers available.


Science, technology, maths and engineering account for half of all jobs in

Australia.


Strong links and collaboration with industry provide RMIT students with practical

local and international experience before graduating.


RMIT’s Open Day includes information sessions, and tours of facilities. 


Current students and staff will be available to discuss study options and career

pathways with future students and their families.
