Sydney Students To Benefit From Record-Breaking Study Techniques

Australian Memory Record Holder and Sydney resident Chris Lyons is shortly to
begin helping local students to improve their study skills and boost their grades.

"I know that many students struggle to cope with the huge amount of information
they have to learn as part of the HSC. It's a real shame because there are some
simple, yet powerful study techniques which many students have never been
shown" said Chris, who back in 2006 doubled the Australian Memory Record by
correctly reciting Pi to 4,400 places without a single error.

Chris will be sharing these techniques through a series of 1 day workshops for
Sydney students starting in April entitled

'Essential Study Skills For High School Students'

The workshops will focus on the three key study techniques every student should
know; memory skills, speed reading and visual thinking techniques.

Students will learn how to double or even treble the amount of HSC information
they remember through the use of memory techniques. Attendees will also learn
how to increase their reading speed, focus and comprehension, plus how to make
quick and memorable study notes.

Chris first discovered memory techniques over 20 years ago as a University
student. He also runs workshops for adults and companies showing business
people how to remember names, present without notes and tackle information
overload. For details visit http://www.gloo.com.au.
