Latest research on Lack of Passion in

Australian business

A 10-month research project with feedback from 493 Australian employees shows the

shocking statistic that at least 7 out of every 10 workers in Australia, across all industries,

demonstrate a real lack of passion about their work and how they perform it. The same

respondents consider that levels of passion in their own organisations are only slightly

higher.  The tragedy is that companies suffer, and employees suffer, when passion

disappears, and yet the problem can be simply overcome with proven solutions.

“Passionate workers are the lifeblood of a successful business” states Charles Kovess,

a global expert on passion, and one of Australia’s leading motivational speakers

and business educators, “but most leaders and managers are clearly wasting,

indeed destroying, this powerful resource! Whilst most workers start their new jobs

with lots of passion, the research

shows this passion steadily reduces if it is not

rejuvenated and nourished. It’s a bit like falling in love: it’s exciting at first, but if you

don’t look after it, it soon fades.”

There are practical strategies that businesses and employees can follow that will

have an immediate positive impact on profits and on the lives of the employees.

Charles can tell your readers viewers and listeners:

* why passion is proven to be such a powerful resource for business and for

individuals

* how bosses squash passion, both accidentally and intentionally

* how best to rejuvenate passion when it has faded or disappeared

*

the link between passionate employees and retaining customers

* the link between passion and keeping your best employees.

Charles and his books (‘Passionate People Produce’ and ‘Passionate

Performance’) have received critical acclaim from many Australian and international

organisations over the past 15 years. His clients include 31 of Australia’s top 250

organisations. He has appeared on TV, on dozens of radio talk shows, and in many

newspapers and magazines. Call 0412317404 to book Charles Kovess to talk

about transforming ‘passion-less workplaces’ into winning enterprises in the 21st

Century.
