Workplace Ombudsman to Investigate Chubb
Security Personnel Pty Ltd
The federal Workplace Ombudsman has today confirmed it is investigating
allegations that staff employed by Chubb Security Personnel Pty Ltd in the
ACT have been underpaid their basic wages and entitlements, in
particular, overtime.
The claims have been referred to the Workplace Ombudsman by the
ACT Branch of the Liquor & Hospitality Miscellaneous Workers Union
(LHMU).
The Workplace Ombudsman is now in the process of checking whether
employees have received their lawful entitlements in accordance with their
workplace agreement.
The Workplace Ombudsman hopes to work together with Chubb Security
Personnel Pty Ltd and the LHMU to ensure a successful outcome for all
parties.
