Husband & Wife Team Recognised for Breast Cancer Research
30 April, 2008: An Australian husband and wife team are being awarded for their ground-breaking and
internationally recognised research into breast cancer.
Doctors Jane Visvader and Geoff Lindeman have received the GlaxoSmithKline Research Award for
major discoveries including isolating the stem cell which creates breast tissue.
