26 May, 2008: Australias peak business group is calling for our best teachers to be payed around
$130,000 each year in a new proposal to strengthen the teaching profession.
The Business Council of Australia believes increasing the existing salary cap will recognise the
important role teachers play and attract the most talented candidates.
