$700K PROJECT COMPLETED ON NEW ENGLAND
HIGHWAY AT BOLIVIA
Work has been completed on the New England Highway,
56km north of Glen Innes
at Bolivia.
An RTA spokesperson said the work involved widening the road in various locations,
upgrading the asphalt surface and improving drains along a one kilometre section of
road.
The $700,000 project was fully funded by the State Government.
This work will improve road safety for motorists using the New England Highway and
help reduce the risk of crashes at Bolivia.
The work was completed by the RTA.
RTA thanks motorists for their patience while these works were carried out.
