CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS F6 SOUTHERN FREEWAY
The RTA is advising motorists about changed traffic conditions on
the F6 Southern Freeway at Unanderra on Sunday 24 October
2010.
The southbound on-ramp from Five Islands Road to the F6
Freeway southbound will be closed to allow the RTA to carry out re-
surfacing work on and next to the ramp.
The ramp will be closed from 7pm and is expected to be reopened
by 5am Monday 25 October 2010.
Motorists will be required to detour via Five Islands Road
westbound, turn left onto the Princes Highway southbound, then left
onto Northcliffe Drive to rejoin the F6 southbound.
A temporary speed zone of 40km/h will be in place on Five Islands
Road near the work.
Motorists are asked to obey all signs including reduced speed limits
and directions from traffic controllers.
Be roadwork aware, slow down and take care, roadwork speed
limits are enforceable.
The RTA appreciates motorists cooperation while the work is
completed.
