COONAMIT BRIDGE SIDE TRACK TO CLOSE TONIGHT
The side track next to Coonamit Bridge over the Wakool River on the Swan Hill to
Moulamein Road will be closed tonight, Thursday 14 January 2010, weather
permitting.
The side track will be closed to all vehicles between 8pm and 6am in order for repair work,
including strengthening and piling work, to be carried out on the low level crossing.
Motorists are advised that a detour will be available via Kyalite.
Electronic message boards have been put up
since the start of the year warning of
the impending closure and motorists are urged to follow all temporary traffic controls
and signs.
The RTA thanks motorists for their patience while this essential maintenance work is
being carried out.
