NIGHT WORK F6 FREEWAY
GWYNNEVILLE
The RTA is advising motorists of changed traffic conditions on the F6 Freeway at
University Avenue, Gwynneville, from Sunday 17 January to Wednesday 20 January,
weather permitting.
Work to put up
a low bridge warning sign will be carried out at night, from 9pm to
5am, to minimise disruptions to traffic during the day.
All
southbound lanes will be closed while the work is being done from Sunday 17
January to Wednesday 20 January.
One of two northbound lanes will be closed during these times on Sunday 17
January and Monday 18 January, weather permitting.
Southbound motorists will be detoured off the F6 via the University Avenue off ramp,
and then proceed back down the southbound on ramp from University Avenue to
rejoin the F6.
A reduced speed zone of 40 km/h will be in place throughout the work site.
Electronic message signs will be in place to alert motorists to the changes.
Motorists are asked to exercise caution when travelling through the work site and to
comply with all temporary signposting and traffic control measures.
