TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURE –
HUME HIGHWAY, DOUGLAS PARK
Motorists are advised of a temporary lane closure southbound on the Hume
Highway at Douglas Park over the next week, due to continued work on the
road shoulder.
The work will take place Wednesday and Thursday, 23 - 24 July, and
Tuesday, 29 July, from 8am to 3pm (weather permitting).
The work involves the southbound lane between Frank Partridge Rest Area
and Moreton Park Road.
One lane will be closed during this time and there will also be intermittent
stoppages of all southbound traffic to allow equipment to cross the road.
A reduced speed limit of 40kmh will apply over the 300 metre site, and
motorists are asked to be alert for workers during this time.
Electronic message signs are on site to provide motorists with advanced
notice of the changed traffic conditions.
The RTA appreciates the co-operation of motorists while this essential work is
carried out.
