TRAFFIC CHANGES ON PACIFIC HIGHWAY
SOUTH OF JOHNS RIVER
Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Pacific Highway south of
Johns River.
A 1.1 kilometre section of new south
bound road is now
open to north and south
bound traffic.
Traffic will be one lane in each direction. Electronic message signs are in place to
advise motorists of the changes.
The traffic detour will allow work to continue on the new north bound carriageway and
means that a total of 19.6 kilometres of two lane, two-way upgraded road is being
used for Pacific Highway traffic between Coopernook and Herons Creek.
The Coopernook to Herons Creek part of the Pacific Highway upgrade is expected to
be completed in the first half of 2010, weather permitting.
Be road work aware, slow down and take care
speed limits are enforceable. The
