TRAFFIC CHANGES ON PACIFIC HIGHWAY NEAR KEW
There will be changed traffic conditions for motorists travelling on the Pacific Highway
north of Kew on 10 December 2009.
A one and a half kilometre section of new northbound carriageway
north of Kew will
open to north and south bound traffic.
Traffic will be one lane in each direction. Electronic message signs will advise
motorists of the changes.
The traffic detour will allow work to continue on the new south bound road and means
that a total of 21.1 kilometres of two lane, two-way upgraded road is being used for
Pacific Highway traffic between Coopernook and Herons Creek.
The Coopernook to Herons Creek part of the Pacific Highway upgrade is expected to
be completed in the first half of 2010, weather permitting.
