LOAD LIMIT LIFTED FOR BRIDGE OVER
PINE CREEK WAY, BONVILLE
The temporary 10 tonne load limit has been lifted on the bridge over Pine Creek
Way at Bonville.
An inspection revealed work needed to be done to some sections of the timber
beam bridge, requiring the load limit to be applied to maintain safety while work
was completed.
The RTA has now finished the work, earlier than expected.
Detours were in place while the bridge work was carried out to minimise the
impact and inconvenience to motorists.
The RTA worked with Coffs Harbour City Council to ensure services continued
for local residents on East Bonville Road while the temporary load limit on the
bridge was in place.
The RTA would like to thank motorists for their patience while it carried out this
work.
