Major works on West Gate Bridge, West Gate Freeway and Monash Freeway this
weekend
Weekend works will continue on the M1 corridor as part of the $1.39 billion upgrade.
Two lanes on the West Gate Bridge and the West Gate Freeway will be closed inbound
heading east overnight tonight from 9pm.
There will also be closures on the West Gate Freeway outbound heading west from tonight
and during the weekend. Works include resurfacing.
The Burnley Tunnel will also be closed for scheduled maintenance works from 9pm
Saturday night until 9am Sunday morning. The Domain Tunnel heading west will not be
affected by this closure.
Final asphalting works will be carried out on the Monash Freeway outbound between Stud
Road and the South Gippsland Freeway during the weekend and are weather dependent.
