MAINTENANCE WORK NEWELL HIGHWAY
AND GOLDEN HIGHWAY AT DUBBO
The RTA
will be carrying out maintenance work
on the Newell Highway and the
Golden Highway in Dubbo this week.
On Wednesday 6 October road repairs will start on Whylandra Street (Newell
Highway) adjacent to East Street and continue until Thursday 7 October
2010,
weather permitting.
On Thursday 7 October road repairs will also start at the intersection of Fitzroy Street
and Erskine Street (Golden Highway) and continue until Friday 8 October 2010,
weather permitting.
Work will be carried out between 6am and 6pm each day.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane and traffic controllers will be in place. The speed
limit through the worksite will be reduced to 40 km/h.
Motorists are asked to obey the signs, including reduced speed limits and the
direction of traffic controllers. Some delays may occur.

road work speed limits are
enforceable.
