Major works on the West Gate Freeway this weekend as part of M1 upgrade
Weekend works will continue along the West Gate Freeway heading east between the Bolte
Bridge and the CityLink tunnels which will cause delays to motorists.
There will be daytime delays on Saturday and Sunday on the West Gate Freeway heading
eastbound (citybound) between the Bolte Bridge and CityLink tunnels due to lane closures
which commence tonight (20 November) at 8pm and run until 5am Monday morning (23
November.
In addition, the Montague Street westbound entry-ramp (for traffic heading towards the
West Gate Bridge) will be temporarily closed on Friday and Sunday nights and during the
day all day on Saturday. Drivers will be diverted to an alternative ramp to access the
freeway.
No daytime works will be carried out on the Monash this weekend.
