TRAFFIC ALERT
13 OCTOBER 2009
TRAFFIC CHANGES ON
PACIFIC HIGHWAY AT
MOORLAND
There will be changed traffic conditions for motorists travelling on the Pacific
Highway at Moorland, south of Kew, from Wednesday 14 October 2009.
From 8am, 1.5 kilometres of the new southbound carriageway of the upgraded
highway between Hannam Vale Road and Forest Road will open to north and
southbound traffic.
Traffic will be one lane in each direction. Electronic message signs will advise
motorists of the changes. Motorists wanting to use Hannam Vale Road should
follow the signs and directions of traffic controllers.
The traffic switch will allow work to continue on the new northbound
carriageway and means that a total of 15.5 kilometres of upgraded carriageway
is now being used by Pacific Highway traffic.
The completed highway upgrade will be opened to traffic in early 2010, weather
permitting.
The RTA thanks motorists for their patience during this work.
