REMOVAL OF SAFETY MEASURE ON PACIFIC
HIGHWAY, BALLINA
The RTA has removed temporary restrictions on traffic flow at the intersection of the
Pacific Highway and Teven Road south of Ballina.
A right turn from Teven Road on to the Pacific Highway will now be permitted.
The RTA is reviewing the impact of the holiday traffic restriction and will use the
results to assist in the on-going management of traffic during busy holiday periods
In the past long queues of traffic have occurred at this location during peak holiday
times, and this was why the restrictions had to be introduced.
