RESURFACING WORK ON THE
OXLEY HIGHWAY
NEAR GINGERS CREEK
Motorists are advised there will be delays of up to 15 minutes while resurfacing
work is carried out on the Oxley Highway near Gingers Creek, about 80 kilometres
west of Wauchope.
Work starts tomorrow
between 7am and 5pm weekdays. The work is expected to
be completed before the end of the month, weather permitting.
The work will improve the surface of the highway and involves resurfacing sections
along a 16 kilometre length at that location.
Electronic message signs are in place notifying motorists of the work.
Traffic will
be restricted to one lane in alternative directions while the work is carried out.
An RTA escort vehicle will accompany traffic through the work site to
help with
safety and controlling traffic speed.
Motorists are asked to comply with traffic control measures at this location and to
proceed with care through this worksite.
The RTA apologises for any inconvenience and asks motorists to be patient. All
attempts will be made to minimise the impact of this necessary work.
