ROAD SAFETY WORKS COMPLETED IN
ARMIDALE
Road safety work has been completed on Bundarra Road 17km west of Armidale at
Invergowrie.
The work involved improvements to a series of curves, rebuilding the road to improve
bends and reduce dips and rises.
An RTA spokesperson said the work will boost road safety and help reduce off-road
crashes from a series of curves on Bundarra Road.
In the past five years there have been five recorded crashes on this section of road.
The work was carried out by Uralla Shire Council on behalf of the RTA.
The road safety work was fully funded by the Federal Government under the Nation
Building Black Spot Program costing $220,000.
