ROAD TRANSPORT IN FOCUS ON MONDAY 
Parliamentarians representing transport ministers and senior officials from Thailand, 
Singapore, Malaysia and New Zealand will meet with Australian government, business and 
industry leaders in Melbourne on Monday (8 February) to discuss common issues and 
challenges across road transport safety and logistics. 
The meeting will be hosted by Anthony Albanese, the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, 
Regional Development and Local Government.  State Ministers have also been invited to 
attend. 
The meeting is expected to lay the foundation for future initiatives to enhance road transport 
safety in the region.  
Media representatives are invited to attend the first 40 minutes of the meeting  to hear 
Anthony Albanese and APEC Business Advisory Council member, Lindsay Fox, address the 
meeting.
