TRAFFIC ALERT
CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS ON
SAPPHIRE TO WOOLGOOLGA UPGRADE
The RTA is advising motorists of changed traffic conditions from Monday 25
October 2010 on the Pacific Highway between Sapphire and Woolgoolga.
Korora to Emerald Beach
From Monday 25
October until
Thursday 28
October,
traffic control will be in
place between 9:30am and 2:30pm to allow tree clearing next to the highway and
the installation of concrete barriers on road shoulders.
While the work is
being carried out, motorists
may experience short delays with
intermittent lane closures in both directions. A reduced speed zone will be
implemented as required.
Emerald Beach to Woolgoolga.
From Tuesday 26 October until
Thursday 28 October traffic control will be in
place between 7am and 5pm to allow geotechnical drilling investigations and
installation of concrete barriers.
Traffic management will be in place across the project to ensure the safety of
workers, motorists and pedestrians. Motorists are asked to drive safely through
work sites and observe all speed limits.
