SOUNDWAVE FESTIVAL
CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS
The Soundwave
Festival will take place at Eastern Creek
on Sunday 21
February.
The RTA is advising motorists that road
closures and special event
clearways will be in place for the festival from 7am to midnight.
Peter Brock Drive will be closed to traffic except to buses
and
taxis.
Access for local businesses will be managed by NSW Police.
The alternative route for motorists travelling east and westbound is Ferrers
Road, Brabham Drive, Great Western Highway, and Reservoir Road.
Special event clearways will be enforced.
Motorists are advised to check
signs before parking as vehicles parked in special event clearways will be
towed and fines apply.
Shuttle
buses will run from Blacktown train station to Eastern Creek
International Raceway.
The bus zone will be located through Gate 4 at the bus drop off area,
Eastern Creek International Raceway.
The taxi zone will be located at the Eastern Creek International Karting
Raceway.
