RESURFACING WORK IN STEWART STREET, BATHURST
The RTA advises resurfacing work will be carried out on Stewart Street between
Brilliant and Lambert streets in Bathurst on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 February
2010.
Traffic on Stewart Street (Great Western Highway) will be affected in both directions,
and a detour will be put in place.
Eastbound traffic will detoured via Peel and Lambert Street on Monday only.
Westbound traffic will be detoured through Lambert and Peel Streets on Tuesday
only.
Access to residences and businesses will be permitted during road closures under
the direction of traffic control staff.
Work will be done during daylight hours from 7am to 5pm. Traffic changes will only
be in place during these work times and will revert to the standard arrangement
overnight.
Efforts will be made to minimise delays during the work.
Motorists are asked to follow directions from RTA and contracted staff when travelling
throughout the worksite, and obey all signs and speed zones.
The RTA apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciate motorists
patience and cooperation during these important works.
