SURFACING WORK AT KEMPSEY ON PACIFIC 
HIGHWAY 
 
Road resurfacing work is due to start on the Pacific Highway at Kempsey. The work 
involves repairing the asphalt to improve the life of the road surface. 
 
The work will take place on Saturday 13 February 2010 between the hours of 2pm 
and 8pm, weather permitting.  
 
As part of the work the southbound slow lane on the Pacific Highway between 
Belgrave Street and Fourth Street will be closed. Traffic will be restricted to one 
southbound lane with a temporary speed limit of 40 km per hour. 
 
There will be noise associated with this work, however every effort will be made to 
minimise the impact on local residents and businesses. 
 
Motorists are asked to comply with all temporary signposting and traffic 
control 
measures at this vicinity and to proceed with care through this worksite.

enforceable.
