ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ALPINE REGION
The RTA is advising motorists of adverse weather conditions in the Alpine Region.
This afternoon,
heavy snow began to fall and stick to the roads in the Alpine Region
and this has made road conditions unsafe for motorists.
The RTA advises that snow clearing machines are on site and is urging motorists to
avoid the Alpine Region if possible.
Motorists using the Alpine Region are asked to exercise caution on the roads and
allow extra travel time for journeys.
The RTA would like to thank motorists for their patience during these unforseen
circumstances.
