TRAFFIC CHANGES ON
STEWARTS RIVER ROAD
Traffic will be diverted onto the Stewarts River Road overpass, west of Johns
River on 26 November 2009, weather permitting.
Both directions of traffic will be diverted and motorists will no longer use the
temporary side track.
After traffic is diverted onto the new Stewarts River Road overpass, work will
continue beneath the overpass to complete the 2.5 km bypass of Johns River.
The Johns River bypass is scheduled to open to traffic in early 2010.
Motorists should be road work aware, slow down and take care

speed limits are enforceable.
This work is part of the 33 kilometre Coopernook to Herons Creek upgrade of
the Pacific Highway, which includes bypasses of Johns River, South Moorland
and Kew.
