Closures on the West Gate Bridge and Freeway tonight (cancellation of
outbound bridge works)
Lane closures on the West Gate Bridge outbound tonight have been cancelled
however lane closures will be in place in inbound tonight from 8pm with only one
lane open from 9.30pm tonight until 6am tomorrow morning.
The closure of the freeway inbound between Cook Street and Montague Street, will
still proceed tonight from 8 pm until 5am tomorrow morning.
Motorists will be able to detour via Todd Road and Lorimer Street.
The works include resurfacing and are being carried out during the holiday period
when traffic volumes are low.
