West Gate Freeway closed inbound tonight
Motorists are advised that the West Gate Freeway will be closed inbound between
Cook Street and Montague Street tonight and possibly for a further two nights this
week, as part of the $1.39 billion upgrade of the M1.
The freeway will be closed from 8pm tonight until 5am tomorrow morning inbound
from Cook Street, at the Shell Service Centre, to Montague Street. Motorists will be
able to detour via Todd Road and Lorimer Street.
The works include resurfacing of the freeway.
