Major works on West Gate Freeway and Monash Freeway this weekend
Weekend works will continue on the M1 corridor as part of the $1.39 billion upgrade.
The Kings Way entry ramp heading west will be closed tonight and Sunday night as part of
the works. Motorists can access the freeway at Montague Street.
In addition the Kings Way exit ramp heading east will be closed Saturday and Sunday
nights. Detours via Montague Street and Power Street.
Also on the West Gate Freeway there will be resurfacing carried out on the main
carriageway in both directions. Lane closures will be in place so motorists can expect
delays during the weekend or seek an alternative route.
Resurfacing works will also be carried out on the Monash Freeway inbound between the
South Gippsland Freeway and Stud Road starting tonight and throughout the weekend.
Again motorists can expect delays or seek an alternative route.
