WOMEN IN WAR TO BE RECOGNISED
Womens contribution to Australias involvement in wars, conflicts and peace operations is to be
immortalised in an exciting new book.
This is the first book from the Government devoted to detailing the rich history and service of
the more than 100,000 women who have served in uniform and the millions more who
contributed on the home front.
Current and former servicewomen and women who served on the home front will attend the
official book launch by the Minister for Veterans Affairs, Alan Griffin.
