Are you in need of a mean girl makeover?
DOLLY continues its commitment to the big issues by
investigating the age-old question - why are girls so mean to
each other? Drawing on insight from Girls Against Girls author
Bonnie Burton, DOLLY delves deep into the psychology of female
competitiveness and social conditioning to reveal why we all
have the potential to be a mean girl. There are also loads of
expert tips and tricks on how to identify your inner mean girl
and keep her under wraps.
Up your lad-itude: confidence tricks to steal from the guys
Want bullet-proof confidence? Take a leaf from the boys book
by leaving your baggage at the door, and getting on with the
good stuff. DOLLY chats with experts about why youll never
hear guys asking, Does my bum look big in this? and why a
little lad-itude can be the secret to super-charging your
self-esteem.
Lets talk about sex: the DOLLY survey
After more than 5,000 responses, the results are in for
DOLLYs annual sex survey. Among the findings: 32 per cent of
respondents have had sex (down from 38 per cent last year).
Worryingly, almost one in three respondents had felt pressure
to send a sexually explicit text message (known as sexting);
while 56 per cent of sexually active respondents admitted they
dont practice safe sex. The results were sourced from an
anonymous, online survey conducted on the DOLLY website in
recent months.
